Kelly Morrison

I'm a self-taught fine artist who was born and raised in Boise, Idaho. I've always been fascinated by the rugged beauty of the American West, finding solace in capturing the magnificence of the lands that I have grown up in alongside the western culture I have always viewed as an artistry of its own. As a native to Idaho, I am drawn to depicting the lives of cowboys in my paintings, as well as the Indigenous peoples of North America, such as the Sioux, Blackfeet Tribe of Montana, Nez Perce, and Shoshone. Both of these intricate cultures I have found so different, yet similar to the fact that they both embody the hard-working, indomitable American spirit. I hope that my art stirs within you the same feelings as it does for me -- pride and appreciation for the various peoples and natural wonders that make up the true magnificence of this beautiful country.
